On his sixth birthday, Isaac Stevens had only one wish in his heart: To be a Columbus zookeeper for a day.
Isaac was born with congenital heart defects but was fortunate enough to receive a heart transplant at 3 1/2.
He was also lucky enough to be granted his wish through the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana chapter of Make-A-Wish.

The Columbus Dispatch reports Isaac spent Sunday afternoon petting penguins, rolling around with armadillos, holding a young cheetah, and even feeding a giraffe.
Isaac’s parents say he takes medicine every day to ensure his body doesn’t reject the transplant.
They call him their “miracle child.”
