Party in the street to celebrate Short North construction

Save your cursing at the Short North construction and parking situations for another day because it’s time for a PARTY!

Thanks to a couple street closures, a section of High Street in the Short North between Buttles Avenue and E. Lincoln Street will be closed off, allowing an opportunity to jam in the streets.

The Short North Arts District Traffic Jam this Sunday, August 26, will offer a free trio-upgrade with an ice cream purchase, live music, and free parking (yes, you read that correctly).

The Joseph, The Castle, and The Hub) will offer free parking from 12:00 – 4:00pm.

The construction project at 711 High St (next to Forno) will begin disassembling a crane which will close down N. High Street between Buttles Avenue and E. Lincoln Street from August 26- 28.

The neighborhood will still be pedestrian accessible except for areas where safety measures prevent access.

Motorists will not be able to use that section of High Street but can access the neighborhood by following detour signs.
