Scooters dominating roads, City Hall public forums

Appreciative and concerned citizens alike gave their testimonials to City Council and Bird representatives at last night’s City Hall public forum.
A Bird spokesman sided with the concerned citizens, saying safety is of the utmost importance. He also added that smart transportation is more important in Columbus than in the other 15 or 16 Bird markets.

Frank Williams, administrator of the infrastructure management division in the Columbus Department of Public Service, agreed with the need for more smart transportation options.
Columbus Business First reports Columbus EMS have responded to 35 scooter-related injuries since July 14.
