19 Columbus Crips gang members charged for murder
Nineteen members of the Columbus Crips gang have been charged for racketeering and murder.
Allegedly, these members of the gang were involved in five murders, multiple attempted murders and other violent and drug-trafficking crimes, reports KCBY.
Fifteen of the 19 charged are in custody.
The alleged gang members charged include:
- 26-year-old Dominique “Doggy” Bryant
- 23-year-old Charles Carson
- 26-year-old Jonathan “Jesus” Dantzler
- 21-year-old Terrell “T Body” Hansard
- 30-year-old Andrew “Drip” Harris
- 19-year-old Eric “Lil Go, Little E” Henderson Jr.
- 39-year-old Eric “Easy” Henderson Sr.
- 20-year-old Michael “Bang” Henderson
- 25-year-old Steve “Big Go, Tana” Henderson
- 26-year-old Brandon “Gunner” Martin
- 22-year-old Lee “Capone” Devine McCrae
- 25-year-old Shawn “Mook” Nelms
- 21-year-old Terrance “Tee” Pyfrom
- 26-year-old Donovan “Don Don” Reed
- 25-year-old Deswan “Dezzy” Robinson
- 24-year-old Thomas “Bhomo” Seals
- 29-year-old Derrick “Fresh” Thornton
- 35-year-old Marcus “Ox, Wax” Walton
- 25-year-old Michael “Sossa” Watson

The five murders the gang is accused of carrying out include:
- July 1, 2012 murder of Frankly Tention on Ellison Street by Dantzler and Nelms
- March 15, 2013 murder of William Moore, a rival gang member, by Martin, Nelms and Robinson
- December 23, 2013 murder of Marvin Ector on East 5th Avenue by Henderson and Watson
- January 24, 2015 murder of Quincy Story by Carson
- March 4, 2016 murder of Deaonte Fisher where Hansard was involved
All are facing life in prison and some may even be eligible for the death penalty.
The technical name of the gang is “Trevitt and Atcheson Crips” after Trevitt and Atcheson streets in the King-Lincoln district in near east Columbus.
KCBY reports that through fear, intimidation and violence, the men were able to control the entire area bounded by Mt. Vernon Avenue to the south, Leonard Avenue to the north, Taylor Avenue to the east, and St. Clair Avenue to the west.
The gang is also accused of 26 other attempted murders between June 14, 2010 and March 15, 2017 and distributing cocaine, heroin, oxycodone and marijuana to fund gun purchases.
