Local New York-style pizza joint hitting the road

Sinclair Rd’s New York-style pizza authority will be closing their doors this weekend.

Leone’s Pizza’s last day will be Sunday, October 21.

“We appreciate all of the love, support and forgiveness you have shown us for the last 2.5 years as we have poured blood, sweat, tears and laughs into bringing Columbus the best NY style pizza possible,” they wrote on Facebook.

They did not include a reasoning for the closure but they did say they hope Leone’s can be “reincarnated at some point in the future.”

Things will be business as usual from now until Saturday with a limited menu offered on Sunday.
