“Last Call: A Four String Farewell,” a Facebook event

Since news broke about Four String Brewing “closing until further notice,” there haven’t been any official updates but we have dug up some information via Facebook.

For starters, Four String’s page looks to have been deactivated.

Secondly, the Big Room Bar is hosting an event called “Last Call: A Four String Farewell.”

“We come not to Bury Four String, but to Praise them!” the event description says. “Join us next Saturday afternoon to raise a glass (or 3) to one of the brightest candles to ever burn in the Columbus Brewing scene.”

The appreciation event will offer four different Four String beers, including Skeleton Red, live music, raffles, tasty treats and “MASS HYSTERIA!!”

And this past week, Little Rock Bar held a “Four String Appreciation” event.

“Join us in raising a glass to Four String Brewing,” said the event description. “Enjoy some of the best damn beer to ever come out of Columbus: Hilltop, Payback Pils, Brass Knuckle, & Vanilla Porter.”
