Could apt. developer tune CD102.5 out of current digs?
Could Columbus’ only rock alternative station get bounced out of their digs by developers?
Gallas Zadeh Development has proposed an apartment development at 1036 S Front St.—the home of CD102.5 and the bar venue Big Room Bar.
The three-story, 42-unit building is listed on Thursday’s Brewery District Commission meeting to be considered but will not be voted on.

“Any future sale of real estate would only help CD102.5 transition to a location with newer and better-equipped facilities and provide an opportunity for stronger community collaborations,” CD102.5 owner Randy Malloy told Columbus Underground. “We have had some recent discussions with business contacts about maximizing 102.5’s business through stronger integrations with partners who share a similar mission to promote and support local music.”
The Alternative Station has been camped out at 1036 S Front St. since 2011.
