’17 Food Truck Fest winner replacing Pearl Alley staple
As Pearl Alley ushers out a long-time restaurant staple, it will be welcoming in another local food concept’s first brick and mortar.
Barroluco, an Argentinian comfort food truck, will be replacing the original location of El Arepazo at 47 N Pearl St.
“We are at your service and eagerly waiting to welcome you, our clientele, and those individuals who have yet to embark on their Argentine/Latino journey, here, in the city we love!” wrote the D’Angelo family, the creators of Barroluco, on Facebook.
They’ll offer traditional Argentinian food like empanadas, paella, and churros in a fast-casual setting.
They hope to offer brunches and special dinner options down the road.
