Big Bucks: Football ticket prices likely to rise for ’19 season

Ohio State fans will likely be shelling out the big bucks to experience game day from inside The Shoe next season.
The cost of reserved seats for the 2019 football season could jump from $639 to $702 and box and club season ticket could hike from $789 to $851 at the request of the Ohio State University Athletic Department.
Here are the projected prices for each game, per Columbus Business First.

- Wisconsin: $170 (reserved), $195 (box/club seats)
- Maryland: $92 (reserved), $117 (box/club seats)
- Penn State: $198 (reserved), $223 (box/club seats)
- Season Ticket: $702 (reserved), $851 (box/club seats)
The university says ticket revenue is used to sustain scholarships for more than 625 student‐athletes.
The Board of Trustees, which will hold a meeting this week, will make the ultimate decision.
