Holidays Sleepovers at Franklin Shelter were howling success, expansion possible

The Frankin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center’s inaugural Holiday Sleepover program, which gave folks an opportunity to foster the pups for a couple nights, was such a roaring success that more than half the dogs were adopted.

The temporary-turned-permanent home visits happened over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s when the shelter routinely shuts down.

10TV reports the shelter is considering expanding this program to other holidays, too!

“We are so thankful for our amazing community who came out to host dogs for our sleepovers- definitely a highlight of 2018 for our shelter!” wrote Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center on Facebook.
