Capital University student wins ‘The Voice’ battle

Local student Chris Jamison took on Bruno Mars’ “Young Girls” against opponent Jonathan Wyndham, and Jamison won the battle, nearly breaking the PA at the same time. “I’m going to go with the guy that I think there’s a super star locked in there,” Adam Levine said before he chose Jamison. Pharrell Williams had agreed with the choice saying, “I did hear all of the articulation of every run you did and I was like, ‘(Chris’s) killing it'” and Pharrell said he was leaning toward Jamison if it had been his choice.

Capital University student battling on ‘The Voice’

The Capital University student that had every chair turning (literally) is battling it out once again Monday night on “The Voice.” Chris Jamison now on Team Adam will be singing “Young Girls” by Bruno Mars with Jonathan Wyndham. Adam Levine will be choosing the winner, but one of the other judges could steal the other singer if they choose.

Capital University mailman performs on ‘The Voice’

All four chairs turned around on Chris Jamison’s blind audition on “The Voice.” Jamison is actually the local mailman and student at Capital University and sang “Gravity.” In the end (because he got all four chairs) he ended up picking Adam Levine’s team.
