Cloud Nothings followed up a successful 2012 with April’s “Here and Nowhere Else,” and the Cleveland band is set to play at Double Happiness on Friday. The indie band’s latest work has been dubbed “Best New Music” by Pitchfork (not the easiest accomplishment) and the creation is about “this idea of not being able to communicate — and not just me, but people in general,” singer Dylan Baldi told Alive. The lo-fi riffs rip through the newest album as the singer explores through ideas of being young, communication and at times heart break.
