Prep your palates, Fiery Foods Fest coming this summer
In appreciation of all things hot and spicy, MGN and CD102.5 are hosting their first ever Fiery Foods Festival where restaurants will put their spiciest food forwards.
Fiery Foods Festival will be held Saturday, August 10 at the Columbus Commons.
In addition to participating restaurants and their spicy dishes, dips and desserts, there will be vendors selling salsas, sauces, and other specialties along with crafters and artisans.

For attendees looking to showcase their skills, there will be a local salsa competition, chili cook off, and, for the daredevils out there, a hot pepper eating competition.
The festival Benefits children’s charity CD102.5 for the Kids.
“Columbus is such a great foodie city and a festival celebrating all things hot and spicy has been needed for a long time,” said CD102.5 President Randy Malloy.
Tickets, which start at just $15, include an engraved fork, festival beer glass, food samples and two beers or non alcoholic beverages. Additional information, like vendors and competition details, will be released closer to time of the festival on their Facebook page.
