As Ebola panic increases, so does spending

The threats of Ebola entering the states are still settling into the thoughts of officials statewide. How prepared would Ohio actually be if an Ebola outbreak spread through the state? Hysteria is already beginning for many, and a panel approved $800,000 in spending for the prevention of Ebola. That money will go toward full body suits, protective equipment and clothing. “This purchase will enable us to literally quadruple our inventory of supplies,” said Harry Kamdar, chief financial officer for the Department of Health, the Dispatch reported.
