Columbus Comedy Festival grew for four years, until this April (when it has been held in years past), when the month came and went and there was no festival. This year, the organizers didn’t have the time to put together the festival, but a new group stepped in and the three-day event is back on, starting Thursday at Wild Goose. The festival showcases improv, standup and laughs in general, and each night there are two hours of standup with events following and then another hour of standup. “It needs to happen. It’s one of the best things we put on, as far as representing the talent the city has,” co-organizer Dustin Meadows told Alive.
