As the campaigning nears an end, Governor John Kasich reported $4.6 million left, and his opponent Democrat Ed FitzGerald has $248,000. In the last three weeks, FitzGerald has raised about $36,000 in the past three weeks and really all of his campaign money is being funneled toward other races lower on the ballot that have a better chance of success. Despite the efforts to disperse FitzGerald’s money, Republicans are still winning with how much money they have left. Secretary of State Jon Husted has more than $2.2 million left whereas Nina Turner has about $70,000 left to her campaign, the Dispatch reported.
