Looking good: Cbus’ Print Syndicate makes Forbes list
It’s a promising start for Columbus’ Print Syndicate. The company (which got ALOT of attention this fall when it raised $4.25M in funding) has made Forbes‘ fourth-annual list of America’s Most Promising Companies – coming in at #86. Does that means I’m showing support/celebrating local business when I wear that “Sailor Moon” themed shirt from LookHuman. (deb)

Local gets millions invested from big time companies
Print Syndicate which is the parent company for LookHuman.com, ActivateApparel.com and MericaMade.com has had quite a few investors lately. CEO Tanisha Robinson has handled the deal that has essentially raised $4.25 million through Data Point Capital. The venture capital firm focuses on the Internet and all it can do and is made up of businesses and CEOs from some of the biggest online companies including Groupon. Print Syndicate has made its name in just two years by creating shirts that reference pop culture which includes shirts that say “If I’m running zombies have taken over.”
The added money will allow for more products on her sites and going beyond the T-shirt and toward mugs, shower curtains and more, Columbus Business First reported. Robinson also plans to add more websites with the additional cash flow, some aimed at millennial women.
