Today’s the day folks: Election Day. There are polls open across the city for everyone to go and cast their vote in the midterm elections (if you don’t know where check here). There are more than 1,600 local issues on the ballot along with many other races for office. Monday, Former President Bill Clinton made an appearance to support Democratic candidate, attorney general candidate David Pepper. You’re window to vote is quickly closing, so go out and cast your ballot.

Hit the polls, voting is coming to an end

The polls (and the obnoxious political ads) are about to end. Absentee ballots must be postmarked by Monday and Tuesday is general election day across Ohio. This year’s midterm elections, while not a presidential vote, have quite a few going up for reelection. Governor John Kasich is pitted against democratic opponent Ed FitzGerald, although that one probably won’t be all that close. Up for secretary of state is republican John Husted and democrat Nina Turner. For attorney general there is current republican Mike DeWine and his democratic opponent David Pepper.
