Bottoms up, it’s the World Cup

Brazil kicks it all off against Croatia today, and no matter the controversy the World Cup is going to happen. Bars across the city are jockeying for the best deals, number of TVs, cleanest bathrooms and really whatever can bring in the crowd.

Fado Irish Pub

Partnering with the Columbus Crew, Budweiser and Pepsi for US matches, going to Fado’s is committing to cramming in sardine-style with your new soccer best friends. A soccer field behind the pub will be created, Crew players will mingle with the fanatics and fans alike, Homage will have tshirts and a jumbotron will be set up.

Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse

World Cup games will be aired on the movie screen with free admission.

Claddagh Irish Pub

Down in the Brewery District, the pub will be running beer specials through the night and airing games.

Fourth Street Bar and Grill

The bar is simply too close to the Crew Stadium to not be soccer fans, and it will air the World Cup along with bringing in beers from around the world that correspond with some of the competing countries.

The Three Legged Mare

Over a dozen TVs and two projection screens will be blasting the World Cup in the Arena District.
