Ditch Ohio winter, new flights to Mardi Gras
Just in time to cut the bitter winter in Columbus: flights to New Orleans. Allegiant Airlines are adding a flight from Rickenbacker International Airport to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport that is conveniently timed for Mardi Gras and their February weather is probably a lot better than Columbus February weather. The flights are set to begin running Feb. 5 through April 8. This is the first time in Columbus history that travelers can have a direct flight to New Orleans.
