Market plans to stay put

Clintonville Community Market (200 Crestview Rd.) has decided not to move to Weinland Park. The co-op was looking into a possible move, since the nonprofit store has been facing tough times due to local competition. After talks with Campus Partners (who has been looking to improve the Weiland Park area), the co-op ultimately decided to stay in Clintonville, said co-op board president Connie Gadell-Newton. The member-owned co-op has 800 to 1,200 members who volunteer at the store and receive discounts.
