On to greener pastures for The Greener Grocer

The Greener Grocer, a North Market stall staple for seven years, will be closing on Dec. 31. Michael Jones, owner of the locally sourced produce stall, says he is closing down in order to focus more on his new business, Good Food Enterprises, and his involvement with Great River Organics’ expansion.
The space won’t be vacant for long, as North Market is in talks with a produce growing tenant that could take over in spring. So North Market Shoppers will still be able to balance out all that Jeni’s ice cream eaten by getting some carrots or a nice head of broccoli.
