Buzzless Bexley: Elementary cell phone ban passed for next school year
Beginning next school year, Bexley City School students will be banned from having their cellphones in their possession during class time.
Coming as no surprise, the new policy was put into place to eliminate the distraction in classrooms. Elementary students will be required to keep their cellphones in their lockers during the entire school day, reports This Week News. Junior high and high school students, however, are permitted to use their phones between classes and at lunch.
