In seven years (aka since before the recession) the Ohio unemployment rate has never been lower than it is now. At 5.5 percent, the unemployment rate has dropped since April when it was 5.7 percent. While the rate dropping is a good sign, it is also due to the labor force getting smaller. Last month, 14,000 people were no longer in the labor force.
