“This is gonna hurt a bit,” Grass Skirt closing

After a 7-year luau in downtown, Grass Skirt as we know it will be closing. The final day of operation will be Saturday, August 24.

“But have no fear,” writes Grass Skirt on Facebook. “We are not going away forever!”

A new pop-up concept called SheCreature Cocktails will launch in late 2019, offering “finely crafted” cocktails inside Ace of Cups.

“While this may feel like a goodbye, we are simply changing neighborhoods and keeping our restaurant family together in a new spot,” writes Grass Skirt.

To give the tiki bar a proper send off, swing by 105 N Grant Ave. for a Mai Tai, Zombie, or Sneaky Tiki this next month during their new hours of Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:00 PM- 11:00 PM and Thursday-Saturday 11:00 AM- midnight.
