Cheers! New brewery now open in Easton
A new brewery has officially planted its roots at Easton. Chicago-based Forbidden Root brewery and restaurant is now open at 4080 Worth Ave., Columbus.
Forbidden Root is a botanical brewery inspired by elements found in nature. The 12,000-square-foot restaurant/brewery offers favorites like Snoochie Boochies Double IPA and Small Talk NE-Style Pale Ale, plus local brews from Wolf’s Ridge and Gemut Biergarten. There are also select cocktails and wines available.

The food menu includes bar snacks like smoky BBQ potato chips, crispy chicken skins, and house-made zaatar spiced beef jerky; small plates like salads, wings, and soups; and entrees including a burger, salmon bulgogi, duck & dumplings, and a fried bologna sandwich.
