New president at CCAD to push school into future
Thomas White has been named the president of Columbus College of Art and Design, and is already making plans. “We’ve entered the ‘Era of the Creatives.’ The financial, legal and technical voices will always be critical to any endeavor, but the creative voice has emerged as the engine for innovation and growth,” White said reported Columbus CEO. It sounds like the colorful art students scattered about CCAD will get a taste of the economic side of art as well. White has a background in design and branding and has been teaching drawing and industrial design at University of California.
