In case you’ve somehow missed that this week kicks-off NHL All-Star Weekend, let me just say this: everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) in Columbus is about hockey right now. And the one thing that encompasses all that hockey is? The Stanley Cup. And ya’know what? It’s here in Columbus.
That’s right. The Stanley is making its Columbus debut as part of the 2015 NHL All-Star Game festivities. Today (Jan. 22), from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. you can stop by the Student Life’s Ohio Union Great Hall (1739 N High St.) and get up close and personal with the trophy. Well, not too personal – it’s mainly an opportunity to take selfies* with the shiny, shiny trophy. (deb)
