Want better transit in Columbus? Check out this local organization

Are you tired of being late for work because of a late bus or a bad schedule? Do you want to help make the public transit system in Columbus work for everyone in the City?

These are the questions the Columbus Association for Transit (CAT) poses on its website. And if you answered “yes,” they want you on their bandwagon.

CAT is an organization fighting for better transit in Columbus, according to the group’s Facebook page. By working with the City of Columbus and other transit unions, CAT says it seeks to build equitability and connectivity across the state.

In response to the “Columbus Rapid Transit” map that frequently circulates local internet pages, including on Reddit, CAT says, “If you guys think this is map is dope, and want to see it happen in real life, join us!”

CAT will be holding a meeting on Monday, March 2nd, 2020 at 6:30pm in Meeting Room 1 of the Northside Library at 1423 N High St. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
