It’s safety first for new OSU study

The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and Board of Regents has awarded OSU with three grants, totaling $578,000, to study improvements on workplace safety like injury prevention and illnesses on the job. Specifically, the three grants will look at:
- lower back and shoulder disorders caused from pushing and pulling tasks
- preventing musculoskeletal disorders
- studying safety and health risks at stored grain facilities
