Waiting in line at the bank can be ever so slightly less painful at the Huntington Branch downtown. The bank will display checks from George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Samuel Clemons (that’s Mark Twain) and others. It is free and open to the public, and patrons can look at the actual signatures of founding fathers, presidents and other historical figures. According to NBC4, one of the most important pieces is a check signed by Lincoln the day before his assignation which could also be the last document he signed.
