The Cincinnati Reds will celebrate the Ohio State Buckeyes tonight at Great American Ballpark. The Reds plan on honoring OSU’s national championship win by having coach Urban Meyer and members of the team throw out ceremonial first pitches. The Buckeyes will also receive the first-ever Reds Country Athletic Achievement Award. In addition, the Reds are expected to make a donation (via a giant novelty check) to the Urban and Shelley Meyer Fund for Cancer Research.
*In regards to the first pitches…please just them across the plate, boys. Please. Please. Please. None of us wants to see Michigan fans posting those videos on facebook for the rest of eternity. (jj)
