White Castle takes over City Hall today
Columbus-based White Castle has announced plans to celebrate this Friday TODAY (as it’s National Slider Day) by handing out more than 10,000 of their trademark sandwiches. Random customers across the country will receive free sacks of ten. (614) residents will receive a little something extra as the Castle pays a bit more love to its hometown. Several area nonprofits will be surprised with certificates good for 500 sliders. Reps from the food chain will also be on the lawn Friday at Columbus City Hall starting at 9am to hand out exactly 1,921 sliders….to mark the year of the company’s founding. (jj)
