Petland is reporting that a total of four puppies have been stolen from two of their stores in the last week. The Petland on Bethel road had one bulldog stolen on Saturday and another on Sunday. At the company’s store in Hilliard, a bulldog was taken on Saturday and a Yorkshire terrier on Monday. In the case of the yorkie, store employees say that a woman walked out with the puppy in her purse. Petland says that they are most concerned about the welfare of the pups. (jj)
