Columbus Public Health, Franklin County Public Health issue mask advisory
Columbus and Franklin County residents are being asked to resume wearing masks indoors.
Columbus Public Health on Facebook shared that they, along with Franklin County Public Health, today issued a mask advisory for indoor areas and crowded areas. The advisory is for everyone, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or not. According to the post, the advisory falls in line with the CDC’s guidance for an area with substantial community spread of COVID-19.

The advisory comes as Franklin County is seeing an increase in the number of new COVID-19 cases per day and an increase in test positivity, according to Franklin County Public Health.
