Breaking Bad episode plays out in Worthington
We may have some Walter White wannabes on our hands in Columbus though they couldn’t secure an RV. Police believe a couple people may have been operating a meth lab out of a hotel room in Worthington.
A strange smell was wafting through the air at at the TownPlace Suites on the 7200 block of Huntington Park Dr. last night that was too bizarre to simply be chalked up to weird, hotel funk. A couple rooms were evacuated because of it. The police were called to the scene and found indicators of a meth lab in the room. They were able to locate two suspects who were at the La Quinta Inn Columbus Dublin and arrest them on charges of disorderly conduct for creating an unsafe environment.
Police are currently waiting to execute a search warrant in the room at the nucleus of the odd odor. There is no immediate threat to the public at this time.
