Well-known developer eyeballing downtown parcels

A well-known developer is presenting the idea of reconstructing multiple addresses in the downtown area.

Schottenstein Property Group proposed a new apartment complexes and some retail on the north side of E Long Street east of N 3rd Street. The project would involve renovating three buildings from the 1900s, reports The Dispatch.

Here’s the plan: A five-story apartment complex with 80 units, two rooftop parking garages, 13,680 sq. ft. of retail space, and 38 parking spaces.

Here are the addresses this big development is planned for: 118 E Long Street, 134 E Long Street, and 134 N 3rd Street. These properties all rub elbows with Pins Mechanical Company and Wolf’s Ridge brewing.

The developer proposed a second apartment complex at the northwest corner of Grant Avenue and E Broad Street, according to The Dispatch. These units would cater to neighboring students at CCAD.
