Need Wi-Fi? Hop on a COTA bus

614now Staff

You know how restaurants have started putting tablets on the tables for kids to play on so they don’t make a fuss during dinner? That’s kind of what COTA is doing to Columbus.

They’ve implemented free Wi-Fi access on more than 300 of their buses.

It’ll cost the company about $125,000 a month but it’ll certainly keep the riders entertained [and quiet].

It’s not crappy internet either, it’s unthrottled which means it can carry an unlimited amount of users and speeds won’t be affected, reports WOSU.

Unlimited and free…..what a great combo.
