Precourt ends silent treatment towards Columbus investors

After three months of the silent treatment, Crew SC owner Anthony Precourt has resumed communication with Columbus city leaders and local investors. There’s no news of where Precourt stands on the move but Columbus Business First reports that Precourt, Columbus, and Major League Soccer reached a more “friendly” place this week. Good timing, too, because recently, Austin has been experiencing some issues with potential stadium locations.

Two things have remained true throughout these trying times: Alex Fischer, CEO of the Columbus Partnership, is prepared to do whatever it takes to save his team and the #SaveTheCrew movement gains strength with each passing day.
