Sunday, the Open Streets Project is set for Columbus on Rich Street between High and Starling from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone is welcome as long as they are helping out people traffic rather than car traffic. “You’re removing the daily dangers of motor vehicles and you’re turning it into an active urban playground,” Jess Mathews, a board member of Transit Columbus, according to ThisWeek Community News. The project is nationwide and into Canada, hoping to spread ideas on health and environmental goals.
