Glass Axis delays Franklinton grand opening
Glass Axis was all set to open Nov. 8-9, but has pushed their opening date back. The opening is now set for Jan. 16-17 instead, because of equipment that is still needed in order to heat the glass (which is pretty key). There will be a soft opening though in the coming weeks.

Glass Axis taking root in Franklinton
Glass Axis is settling into Franklinton (adding another feather to the area that is the seeming new arts district) after out growing their Grandview space that they kept for 13 years. With the move they are expanding their space, their staff and their budget. The studio already has about 100 paying members and will offer classes in Franklinton to learn the art. Glass Axis serves as a transitional studio for many who are working on perfecting their art (or learning) before they move onto their own studio. The studio will soon reopen at its space at 610 W. Town St.
