Something beside the #BattleofOhio was happening in Cleveland last Sunday. Just before the game, Columbus officials (Mayor Coleman, City Council President Andrew Ginther, and Franklin County Commissioner John O’Grady) went to First Energy Stadium to make a pitch for Columbus to be the home of the Browns’ new training camp. The team has been looking for new location outside of the current facilities in Berea and officials have offered an disclosed amount to incentive Browns owner Jimmy Haslam to choose Columbus.
It was also reported that Mayor Coleman, a devout Bengals fan, even wore Browns gear at the meeting.
