Meyer: “After today’s practice I really, really like our team”

Despite Braxton Miller’s season ending injury, coach Urban Meyer is still confident in the team, so confident that he said Wednesday’s practice could have been the best he’s seen since he started at the school, he said in a press conference Wednesday.  While Miller’s injury “was devastating,” Meyer has described his replacement J.T. Barrett as “Guiton-ish” and as a calm, cool player.

“I believed that (Miller) would be ready to go in the summer,” Meyer said. “Everything seemed to be on course.”

The Buckeye leader though isn’t hung up on the set back of losing his key player and his newest focus is moving the team forward and looking toward the upcoming game against the Navy.

“It breaks your heart, it shatters your heart, but you have to move on.”
