Rod Smith gets the boot after failed drug test
Monday night, Rod Smith was dismissed from the team for a failed drug test, the Dispatch reported. The senior running back was recruited out of Indiana and had high hopes coming into the Buckeye lineup, but didn’t quite live up to the expectations he had coming on to the team. He also missed much of the spring practices because of academic issues.
