The best Big Ten mascot? Brutus trailing in Tribune’s poll

The Chicago Tribune is pinning the Big Ten mascots up against each other. Just before noon Tuesday, Brutus was trailing in second place against Herky the Hawk, Iowa’s mascot. The Buckeyes are behind 38 percent of votes to Iowa’s 44 percent. For research purposes, check out what Brutus has looked like over the years here.
