FeMMe Fest still on for same weekend as FMMF
Despite R. Kelly being pulled from the Fashion Meets Music Festival lineup, FeMMe Fest is still on. The festival was created by the band The Girls! as an alternative to FMMF as a festival to raise money for the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence, according to Columbus Monthly. The Girls! had not been on the original FMMF lineup, but created the fest that will run over Labor Day weekend (same as FMMF) at Ace of Cups, Seventh Son Brewing Co. and Little Rock Bar. Bands included are Ipps, The Ferals, Damn The Witch Siren (who left the FMMF lineup because of R. Kelly’s inclusion), The Girls!, Cosmic Moon, Katherine, DJ Moxy and Sega Genocide.
