Mikey’s Late Night Slice opening a dive bar in Short North
Mikey’s Late Night Slice has become a staple for Columbusites who enjoy their slut sauce, semi-odd pizza mascot and spicy ass pepperoni, and the pizza joint is now planning to open a dive bar in the Short North next to its existing location on High Street. Oddfellows Liquor Bar will be in the empty space that Late Night once used as extra seating, will have 16 drafts (local and regional) and of course serve pizza along with other food options like house made cheese dips and bacon brittle. “This has been a long time coming,” co-owner Mikey Sorboro said to Columbus Business First. “It’s taken a while to get here, but we think that’s made it way better than it would have been.” The bar is set to open Saturday.
