shutterstock_921171Thursday night, trick-or-treaters will hit the Columbus pavement, costumed and knocking on doors. Thursday is not Halloween. Friday is Halloween. Central Ohio though doesn’t seem to care. The kids will be out on Thursday, so get that bowl of candy ready.

It’s because apparently The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission makes it that way. Trick-or-treating schedules have already been made through 2019 which seems kind of nutty, but they’ve planned it so that the kids will be out Monday through Thursday and even if Halloween is on a weekend they plan it so that trick-or-treating is not. Their logic is that many areas have games, and other events going on during the weekend, WOSU reported.
