Replacing Sushi Rock, Black Point is readying to serve fresh seafood…really fresh seafood, flown in daily. The newest addition to the Short North is part of the Hyde Park Restaurant Group and is set to open Oct. 2. Specials will include scallops with roasted corn and bacon risotto, rainbow trout almondine along with other seafood creations. But the restaurant will also serve the steaks that Hyde Park is well known for, and sandwiches, salads and burgers. Black Point will seat more than 200 and is planning to feature five different types of fish.
