Community Grounds: Coffee shop opening on south side
Once the Parsons Avenue Library, the space will soon be Community Grounds, a coffee shop at 1124 Parsons Ave. Owner Joel Cosme Jr. hopes to have the business up and running by the spring, and to fill a void in the community that is an area attempting to lure businesses in with a growing neighborhood. “As a very active member of the Ganthers Place community, I’ve felt that the neighborhood was missing a business that tied itself strongly to the area,” Cosme said, according to Columbus Underground. Along with coffee, the shop will also sell vegan and vegetarian food choices and baked goods.
